What
we do
North Texas Mailing specializes in high-volume mailing of 1000 pieces and up.
Basically, we provide all necessary services that fall between the printer and
the Post Office. In most cases, the printer will deliver the work to us, and
we take it to the Post Office, relieving the client of almost everything. All
the client needs to do is provide a mailing list, or mailing area if North Texas
Mailing is providing the list.
Mailing
lists
North Texas Mailing does not sell mailing lists. If the mailing is to be a Denton
Area RESIDENT mailing, or a Denton County Political mailing, we will supply
the list at no additional charge. If the client has need for a special list
with names, we will be happy to refer them to a list broker. As far as the clients
own list, we can take it in virtually any computerized media format, without
additional charge. The preferred format is XCELL or Comma Delimited, and the
preferred media is an EMAIL attachment. If the list is in paper form, scanning
or typing charges will be added.
How We Charge
All jobs come with a 50.00 set-up fee, which covers most all front-end and delivery
activities. This includes list preparation, certification, filling out postal
forms, and delivery to the post-office. Bank-end activities, which include printing,
folding, inserting, tabbing, and addressing are charged on a per-piece rate,
and are itemized on the job invoice, along with US postage. North Texas Mailing
guarantees that you get the minimum postage rate available.
When
is the payment due?
Normally the invoiced amount is due and payable before the job is taken to the
Post Office. With special arrangements, the job can be mailed with postage payment
only up-front. If the client is paying for the postage out of their own permit
account at the Post Office, we will invoice for our services after mailing.
Payments can be made by check or “check by fax”, where we generate
a bank draft from a copy of the real check.
Pre-addressed
pieces
North Texas Mailing does not normally handle pieces that are pre-addressed.
The postage rate of non-barcoded material is so high, that after we add a “pre-sort”
charge, the client is up to the
first class rate. What we can do is print a permit on the piece, and send it
at a non-presorted rate (same as putting a stamp on it).
Lead
time for mailings
Normal lead-time is 2 business days from the time we get all materials (pieces
and mailing lists). For large or unique jobs, the time may be more, and will
need to be addressed on a per job basis.
